The Practice

We hope to make your visits here as pleasant and convenient as possible. Our aim is to look after your dental health by providing a professional service on a personal basis. We treat people, not just teeth, keeping at the forefront of modern dental techniques.

We understand how daunting a visit to the Dentist can be! That’s why we like to know about any concerns you may have, so that together we can find the best approach for you.

A good practice

We work hard to meet and hopefully exceed your expectations. The Practice is one of the few in the area to be awarded the ‘Good Practice Scheme’ from the British Dental Association (BDA). We worked hard to gain this award and are very proud of our achievement.

The Practice has been a member of the BDA Good Practice Scheme for 15 years. It shows our continued commitment to training and excellence. When the Practice was last inspected by the Care Quality Commission we received a positive report, meeting all the Commission’s requirements.

Always growing

We undertook a major refurbishment of the building in 2011, creating a modern and expanded facility including a state-of-the-art sterilisation room. In 2016, we added a fifth surgery, allowing us to employ another Dentist, which enabled the Practice to see more NHS patients. In 2018, we added a sixth surgery and are currently taking on over 1,000 new patients every year.

We are currently working with NHS England on an initiative to provide access to dental care in local care homes and to provide information to pre-school children and their parents; the initiative aims to help improve dental care and knowledge for these groups.
